The concrete in this residence had aged for over 15 years so adding new concrete posed a color matching challenge. To bridge the gap between the two, a flagstone ribbon was placed between the new concrete and the old. A wall was built to retain the soil and allow for the expansion of the driveway.

This small residential yard is in Red Hawk, Temecula. For this project, we created a flagstone overlay on the concrete in the existing California room.
